As in-house counsel and then outside counsel, I advised CMR on all aspects of its IP, including an important license with an unauthorized user of CMR's patented technologies.
CMR invented and patented pioneering inventions based on the application of signal processing concepts to the world of magnets. When CMR learned that a company was selling products without a license, they turned to me to try to negotiate a license without litigation. I successfully achieved that result for CMR. The identity of the licensee and all aspects of the license are strictly confidential.

Later, CMR filed a lawsuit against Logitech over additional unauthorized uses of CMR's tech. I advised CMR on that litigation, which settled in late 2022 for a confidential amount.
