AMD v. Samsung

AMD asserted seven patents against Samsung, alleging infringement of tens of thousands of Samsung products.  I led the effort on three of those patents, one claiming a semiconductor process, one claiming an improved transistor channel, and one claiming improved on-chip capacitance.  In addition, I led the patent damages strategy for all of AMD's asserted patents.  My most important oral arguments included a pivotal summary judgment motion against Samsung's lead counsel; claim construction, and presentations to the mediator and Samsung decision makers. I was also responsible for drafting and negotiating the license agreement.
